I added Brave Fencer Musashi for the Playstation, Mana Khemia: Alchemists Of Al-Revis and Shadow Hearts: Covenant for the Playstation 2 this afternoon!

Earlier in the month, PatridgeSenpai had beaten Mana Khemia and my desire for the game began to rise even greater. Well, just for funsies, I went to the eBay and saw that the game wasn't too expensive, so I decided to indulge myself. Well, the game arrived today and my local retro gaming store posted a video of some new games that came in that piqued my interest. Well, in for a penny, in for a pound, I drove down and found two very nice copies of Brave Fencer Musashi and Shadow Hearts: Covenant, two more games that I had wanted for quite a while. My Retro Gaming Convention is on the 29th, so I decided to do some expensive purchases now and do the smaller purchases at the convention. I am happy with all three pick ups as I know I will enjoy them all.

For the record, a friend won a download code for FF16 and gave it to me since he doesn't have a PS5; if I were going to drop $70 on a game, I'd make damn sure I had a disc to put on my shelf if at all possible.

Yesterday was my local Retro Gaming Convention. It is a yearly tradition and whenever I go to one, I make certain to create a list and I do my best to stick to it. The good news is that I stuck to my list. The bad news is that I found more than I thought I did. I was amazed at what they had to offer and I could have walked out with another 8 or so if I decided to deviate from my list. I won't go over every game, but I will go over some highlights.

Link's Awakening - This is my next Zelda game and I have so many to go in this franchise, so I am happy to own this one.
Mario Party 4 - Been looking for this one for quite a while!
3D Dot Game Heroes - This was the #1 game I was looking for at the convention and I was so happy to have found it.
Mario Kart Wii - Another one I had been looking for quite a while.

I ended July strong, picking up a CIB copy of Super Fantasy Zone for the Mega Drive. It’s a game I love, and I’ve wanted a physical copy for a long time. My first pick up for August is a label variant of Atari’s Outlaw. I probably have four copies of the game at this point, but this should be the last one I need to complete a fun sub-set of Atari games (i.e., Atari text label games).
