:D Got a (belated) birthday party planned for Wednesday. Three of my nieces (Pauline, Peach and Daisy) will definitely be there and Rosalina might.

Gonna (hopefully) bake a cake and show the older kids a horror movie. Unless there's time for two.

Were they both in jail?

I’m just curious. You don’t have to respond if it makes you uncomfortable.

I can't remember if I said but if anyone I know asks I just say he's "out of town". Of course it's such a small town I figure they already know.

:( Turns out Paulina's got dance cheer and won't be at my party. Peach and Daisy will, but since they've got plans at half past 5 I'll only have time for one movie. So instead of a double feature of Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street, I think I'll just show the first Halloween film. By today's standards it's just a CGI'd bra over PJ Soles' tits away from being re-rated PG-13.

:D Had a blast celebrating my birthday (three days late) with my mom, aunt and two of my nieces. We watched the original Halloween, my aunt ordered pizza and I baked a cake (French vanilla with Funfetti vanilla icing, replaced water with Strawberries & Cream Dr. Pepper) and had ice cream (white chocolate raspberry and Dr. Pepper Float).

Have you ever considered making a cake not resplendent with a metric ton of artificial flavors and colors most likely consisting of petroleum byproducts?

I used a Duncan Hines cake mix.

My only complaint is you couldn't even taste the Strawberries and Cream Dr. Pepper.

Of course not. All it did was add more sugar and artificial coloring.

AND made it more moist. I think it's the carbonation.

Though I keep forgetting that you don't need the eggs or oil if you use soda.

Also it's supposed to be 12oz per box of mix but I only used 8oz, literally a 1:1 substitution.

Plus, adding soda to cake mix has been around for decades.

Cake mixes are actually mostly fine. It's what you're doing to the poor things that's horrifying.
