Ice from Emuasylum died.

Ice, one of the main operators over at emuasylum.com, apparently died a few weeks ago in April. I've always used Emuasylum for my emulation needs, so I'd always appreciated the work those guys put into their stuff. Apparently they're planning on keeping the site up and running however.

I guess it means no more Scrooge McDuck on their homepage though. That really sucks.

I always forget that the people on internet forums are actual PEOPLE. This is terrible news. I have been to that site many times but was never a part of the community. A big reminder of life itself.

I never frequented the site. However, I'd like to pay my respects and say "Rest in peace."

It always makes mortality such a reality when someone passes away. Hopefully he lived the life he wanted and was somewhat content with his situation.

That's a shame.... he was a nice guy. Had a number of conversations with him in the past.
