Video game discrimination.
Re: Video game discrimination.
Would you rather have games, or a social life?
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

Or, if you look hard enough, you might find other gamers that you can socialize with, getting you both. Find out if your university has a gaming club.Haoie wrote:Would you rather have games, or a social life?

This is so much a false dilemma it's not funny.Haoie wrote:Would you rather have games, or a social life?
For starters, do you want a so-called social life that forces you to stop doing something you like that is not harmful in any sense? Do you think it's worth being friends with that kind of people? I don't think so.

I feel old when talking to anyone my age yet too inexperienced to effectively talk to anyone older. Life is grand that way.

Yeah, its not even a decision that has to be made.
And many of us are into sports/fitness, drinking/partying some, hot girls, and believe it or not... VIDEO GAMES!

Their is always going to be people that say "video games are a waste of time",but I don't listen to those people because if I enjoy it then they can like it or not its the way it is.I have a small amount of action figures and comics, but I care don't if anyone sees it or not.I consider myself pretty normal not a stereotypical nerd, just a gaming addict.

Re: Video game discrimination.
im at uni now (in the UK) and the only person i've found who has negative opinions on video games is (ironically) one of my media lecturers.
in fact, a random presentation group i was put in the other day ended up spending half an hour talking about pokemon. I dont think that many people i've ever met here are really down on computer games in any major way. :S most of the sports nerds and what ever spend a lot of their time playing FIFA anyway :p
