I can't even drink eggnog, that shit is foul. Eating it sounds even worse. Foul² some might say.

I said... I didn't want to talk about it.
Gave three of my niblings their presents. They loved their presents, especially Link.
Link literally tried to open a random present that wasn't addressed to him or his sisters.

A lot of the nog you can buy in stores is quite bad. Especially the ones that are made by companies that sell conventional milk, they no doubt make it with their own milk, and I find all conventional milk to be foul. Most store bought eggnog will give me stomach problems. But a few brands do not. Southern Comfort is my go-to brand for eggnog. I was enjoying it in December 2021 with Fireball. Although this year I tried Jack Daniels Fire for the first time, and it was much better. Fireball has an artificial taste by comparison. And although I'm not a big fan of JD anymore, the JD Fire was excellent in the Southern Comfort eggnog.

Boiled custard is the superior holiday beverage. Big eggnog has brainwashed the masses.

My parents used to buy Borden's(?) egg-nog crystals/powder back in the late 80's-early 90's - it was sort of like Nesquik Strawberry Quik powder, but yellow, and egg-nog flavor. We've tried to replicate it without much success. I had a good idea what ingredients would work this year, but never got around to trying to improve the recipe. Looking it up, all I can find that is like it is a brand called PDQ - from the makers of Ovaltine. I recall some great baking my mother did with this as the flavoring. The pancakes were especially good.

I hate the flavor of egg nog in drink form, but it could indeed make for some lovely pancakes.

Eggnog, especially the good brands, is great, but I can't imagine drinking it with anything other than brandy or whisky (though I'll give rum a pass, but I haven't actually had it that way myself, or if I ever have, I don't remember).
I haven't had it these past two winters, but before that it was a staple for post-Thanksgiving indulgence.

So I guess I forgot to mention that three of my niblings, more specifically my brother's ex-wife's kids, got their Christmas presents last night. There were jokes about me being better than Santa.
And it turns out that Daisy REALLY likes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which made getting the complete original series box set AND the three live-action movies a real treat for her. Dunno if Peach likes TMNT as well.
She also likes Harley Quinn, which made getting the graphic novel Harley Quinn: Breaking Glass a treat.
And I read Goodnight, Krampus to Link. Little stinker kept smacking his Baby Yoda plushie that I got him.

Are they also your brother’s kids? Or, are they just hers from a different marriage/relationship? Regardless, it’s very generous and sweet of you to do so much for them.
Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Peach is hers from her previous boyfriend, but Peach was 10 months old when Betty began dating my brother, so she probably doesn't know. Daisy is my brother's biological daughter. Link's biological father is way out of the picture but my brother's name is on his birth certificate iirc.
Similarly, Veronica's daughter Paulina is my brother's kid. Rosalina's biological father is who Veronica dated after she and my brother broke up. Mario and Luigi's paternal grandfather is my dad's cousin. Zelda's dad is Veronica's current boyfriend.
But they all know me as Uncle [redacted].
And between not knowing if my brother would be "out of town" for the holidays and Veronica and her family being booted from their home, I just wanted to make everyone's Christmas as great as possible.
