Well Icky, Ive got three other setups I can use on the pc - either keyboard encoder or through adapters. But if the sticks packaged with the PC version, or so the rumor goes, are going to be easy to mod, Ill wait and get the US version. I prefer happs sticks and buttons, I know I am an oddball.

First PC screenshots show off multiple shader choices:

Sumi-e ink is the best I think. The others might look fine with some heavy anti-aliasing though. Tough to tell.

Also G4WL, voice chat, online play, achievements confirmed, for those that care.

nice little addition for the PC version. One of those "why not" kind of features. As long as it means more people getting into fighting games every version that comes out the better.

I just recently tried the 360 version, first time playing the title... it really doesn't feel like a street fighter game to me.

I like it, and I really tried to feel it like street fighter, but it doesnt yet.

Maybe with time

To me it never truly feels like a Street Fighter game, the lack of assigned stages, themes, and being able to train on a stage of your own choosing (Fuck the training stage) killed it for me. Not to mention I didn't find the gameplay nearly as fluid as any of the 2D entries in the series.

On a basic level this game plays just like all other Capcom 2D fighters. All of the rules translate including the deepest layers of gameplay. Kara throws, chains, links, cancels, negative edge, they all work just fine. I've clocked 80 hours, headed to EVO to get owned :) This is still 2D fighting at its finest.

KOF12 is really close IMO maybe better with time. Can't afford to pump anymore quarters into it, waiting for console now.

Maybe I just need more time with it.

On KOF - Yeah, I wish our arcade had it.

I hope I never find a KOFXII unit. My savings will be lost in it for all eternity.
