Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Found a couple of images. I don't really take pics of my work. (I usually just sell it LOL)

Bare in mind these are small prints. The hummingbirds I did (I made like five or six of the same image) were like 4x6. The raven/crow is around a 2x4.

Those are great! Ever thought about putting them on a site that gives you commission for selling prints? I know there's a few of them out there. You just need a good digital camera and good lighting, taking a good quality picture of your painting with the right lighting gives good results for prints (I've seen this with my brother's paintings). But if your canvases are small enough, you could fit them on a flat bed scanner Anyway, basically you can make a little bit of money for doing nothing.

Thanks!
Yeah, my phone camera sucks! LOL
I typically sell them locally but I'll have to look into the print sites. Thanks for the suggestion.

I know someone that uses Fine Art America, so maybe check them out. There might be better choices, I have no idea.

So, I lost a friend last week to a heart attack. And now, a week later, I learn another friend had one, too, though with much less fatal results. Nobody tells you when you hit a certain age that all your friends will start having heart attacks. And also that you are probably a candidate for same.

My condolences.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Well I'm finally back to mostly functional but this week has been quite crazy. I've been arguing really hard with my leasing office for the apartment I rent about a multitude of issues for a year now, and one of the issues was over a $50 credit towards rent one month that was offered to me for re-signing the lease. They never added it and have been hounding me about the $50 for months, and I finally snapped and said "if you contact me about this one more goddamn time I'm calling the bosses of everyone I can feasibly think of to bitch."
I was totally being a bit of a jerk, but in response to my email I got a knock on the door and a letter handed to me stating I was in violation of my lease for "threatening others". I went down there and tried to argue that this was an insane response and got told if I continued I'd get evicted.
They messed with the wrong guy though, I've already got a lawyer and have contacted code enforcement about the massive roach infestation that is also an issue here. I've been trying to get them to deal with that for months, and if they're going to threaten me I'm going to make sure they get fined out the ass for everything wrong with this building.
Also having to argue with a professor as politely as I can about my grades. I take night classes because I work full time and I'll take a full letter grade hit if I don't go to some meetings that are held during the day, which were not mentioned when I enrolled in my 6:30-9pm class. I don't understand why a night class teacher would put a requirement like that when these classes are usually held for people who are working full time during the day. I might have to talk to the department head about it.

Good for you, SamuraiMegas! Don't take no crap from anyone.
And sorry to hear that, marurun. Unfortunately, a lot of us are quickly approaching or are already at that age when "stuff happens." One day I'll have to grow up (mentally) and start eating right.
I'm relatively young still, but I can already feel my eyes and ears going. I'm fairly certain that I had better than 20/20 vision, but I've noticed that my vision is definitely not as good as it use to be. For example, I can no longer make out as fine of details from as far away as I use to (which use to be pretty far). And more annoying, there was a good 5-10 year gap that I didn't do a whole lot of tinkering with electronics. Well it seems my vision slipped a bit during this semi-hiatus. Because there's some things, like the small pins of a really small surface mount chip, that I use to see perfectly with the naked eye. Now my naked eye feels strained to try and focus it. And sometimes I feel like I cannot see them clear enough when I use to have no trouble. As for the hearing, I know I've caused my own tinnitus from things I have done over the years. But I've noticed it got a little worse just in the last year or two. I'm very adamant about hearing protection now, as to not cause any further damage. But I find myself saying, "What?" more often than I use to.
