Nintendo PlayChoice arcade PCB
Anyone know if there has ever been a 50 in 1 pcb made for the Nintendo playchoice arcade cabinet? Or if thats possible?

The most I've seen is a 10. And that's on the duel arcade version too. I can't see why it couldn't be possible but I'm sure it's not "official Nintendo" ...NathanBarnatt wrote:Anyone know if there has ever been a 50 in 1 pcb made for the Nintendo playchoice arcade cabinet? Or if thats possible?

Never seen one, but I would say it is possible. I am not sure why you would want one though - Playing NES games with artificial timelimits is just silly.
Re: Nintendo PlayChoice arcade PCB
Do you mean a 50-in-1 cart to use in a Playchoice? I bet you can get a multi-in-1 JAMMA board like this that has some Playchoice games. But of course, your cab an't JAMMA.

Yeah like a 50 in 1 cart. But only on a board. I know they made 54 games for the play choice so I thought having all the games on one would be ideal. And there wouldnt be a time limit since you can set it to freeplay. I would enjoy playing NES games more on an arcade then a TV.

Arent the play choice games slightly different sometimes? I coulda swore that Contra was a different version back then but that was like 20 years ago
Re: Nintendo PlayChoice arcade PCB
They did display hints, but thats the only difference I know of.
Now the actual Contra arcade game is much different than the NES one. Though many veiw the NES port as superior.

MAME was the right choice. I traded the PlayChoice for this. 1500 arcade games, all nes, all snes, all atari. Over 2000 total. almost too many.

That's a pretty good looking cab. Though a 6-button layout seems like it would be better, as now you get the Capcom fighters and you can go with the three and one layout of Neo Geo buttons. That four cluster just seems a bit awkwardly placed.
