What about an immature fondue dinner event in the late summer/early autumn and it's been sunny all day but it's forecast to rain in the evening AND here is a mild wind blowing in from the sea and a hint of mulberry on the air, hmm?

A buyer scammed me at Mercari
He bought this item from me: https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m62058604856/
Once UPS marked delivered; he filed a complaint that I sent him some Chinese mini arcade (something you see on AliExpress) knock off. He took pictures of that inside the box I used to ship his item. Of course Mercari took the buyer side and I lost both item I sold and the money in the process.
This is the buyer: https://www.mercari.com/u/170377905/
I reported this incident to IC3 (Internet Crime Complaint Center).
Next time I'm only selling my items to buyers with over 50-100 feedbacks.

I've been burned too many times selling on ebay and even Amazon. I no longer trust any of those sites. My stuff either goes to real people I know from forums or I'll dump it at a local store, but they're never getting a cent of my sales ever again. Fuck them hard.sevin0seven wrote:A buyer scammed me at Mercari![]()

Damn, that really sucks. Sorry to hear that happened to you. Also, thanks for the information about your complaint, as I had never heard of the IC3.sevin0seven wrote:A buyer scammed me at Mercari![]()
Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Had the whole day off yesterday, so I slept in (until 10am instead of my usual 6am), did some laundry at the Avon Motel and then later hung out with two of my nieces (my brother's ex-wife's kids). I gave them their Christmas presents, save for the modded PlayStation Classic since I'm waiting until I give Peach and Daisy theirs and then give the one for my brother's ex-girlfriend's kids shortly after. Plus I still need to figure out a few things, like how to change which core is used for certain games (like Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder). Turns out I can't change that via Emulation Station as easily as I could if I was running the non-PS1 games via RetroArch or through the PSC's carousel with the Project Eris UI program for PC.
Anyway, Peach and Daisy (not their real names) were at my uncle's fiancée's house, though their baby brother Link was with his grandmother. So he'll get his Sonic the Hegehog plush at a later date. I also decided that he should get to open the present with the first two Rugrats movies.
I also brought my Switch and we played a few games. First was Knight Squad 2, which supports 8 players locally and is pretty fun. Next we did a few levels on Moving Out, which took them a while to figure out the controls. Then we played a bit of Scott Pilgrim vs The World and after Peach got KO'ed it was just me and Daisy. Finally we did a couple of rounds in Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid. Since that was a two-player game, I just watched them try to figure out the controls. After the first match, Peach handed me the controller and I played against Daisy.
Meanwhile, my mom, my brother's ex-girlfriend "Veronica" and her kids went to Florida since my oldest niece Pauline had a dance cheer competition, so everyone went.
And speaking of my mom, after realizing it was almost Mother's Day, I ordered something for my mom, which won't get here until Wednesday. I got my mom...
That and a frozen store-brand pizza with a few episodes of Murder, She Wrote and a couple of hours playing Dysmantle is how I spent my day off.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Just spent an infuriating 3 hours trying to fix/restore my daughter's iPhone. Password for this that and the other, forgotten passwords, locked out and only to lose the data on a factory reset. At least on Android I can have all my pics/music on an SD card an pop it out in case of a problem. Lesson learned for her to backup on iTunes I guess because fix it option never seems to work.
