I'm wanting to use my ps1 controller on my pc. I've seen these generic playstation-to-usb adapters on ebay. Do they work? Have any of yall used them before?
Thanks.
Anyone use these generic PlayStation to USB adapters?

According to this they work on MiSTer. Don't see why they wouldn't on PC.

Re: Anyone use these generic PlayStation to USB adapters?
I've been using them for years and have given many away to friends and clients when I repaired computers for a living. When tested against some others they had a similar lack of lag according to a study of available PS1/2 to USB adapters for using DDR Pads on PC.

Thanks for the responses. I've ordered a couple. Hopefully I'll have some success to report when they arrive.
Re: Anyone use these generic PlayStation to USB adapters?
Seems to work okay for PS2 controllers. The only PS1 controller I've tried is the original d-pad only model. That one didn't work at all. I'm using mednafen for PS1 emulation. Haven't tried out PPSSPP yet but that's next on the list.
Re: Anyone use these generic PlayStation to USB adapters?
I've used this one with good results. Haven't tested it with a PS1 controller, but it has worked well for ps controllers and the only one I know that fully supports guitar hero controllers (the reason I bought it.) Little pricier but I'm happy with it so far.

Thanks for the suggestions, I am also thinking about using them but before that, I want to make sure it is worth buying.
