My landlord cuts me slack in the winter with the rent due to knowing how difficult it is to make ends meet when tourist season ends. My morning job laid me off in October and my evening job cut me down to 25 hours, down from a combined 50 to 70 a week. Usually I'm only 4-5 months behind, tough, due to usually not getting my hours cut so badly until at least early November and getting back to working both jobs by March. But between working three jobs now I'm hoping to get caught up much sooner and start putting away money much sooner.

:D Excellent first day at my new job! They got me doing dishes and it's similar to my old job a decade ago at Orange Blossom.

:? A bit wired and tired.

It's going to be a big adjustment juggling three jobs, but what's that old chestnut from the Futurama pilot? You gotta do what you gotta do. Wish me luck!

:D Awesome first shift at my other new job, Cups & Cones. I was supposed to work there last night, but they weren't able to open.

Anyway, it was just a three-hour shift, which is good because it was pretty slow and I needed to learn how everything works.

Made waffle cones... though most of them were unusable.

Unusable because there were no customers to use them, or unusable because you've never done it before so you're just learning?

Did you get to sample your failed cones?

Just learning. And I imagine the cones taste better with ice cream in them, though I'm not one for cones TBH.
