I said, if that adapter lines up and is pin for pin compatible then I don't see why you couldn't use it. Baring any fitment issues, such as not being able to lay flat due to a surface mounted cap or interfering with a neighboring IC.

Double check this, but I believe the pinouts match up...

Thats right pinout is the same and yea there is one surfaces mounted cap but its not a problems i can easily move it out of the way.
Just waiting for the new tssop compatible adapter i hope it works out :)
Also ordered those sdd1 and sa1 boards to from pcbway.

Still waiting for the parts to arrive , Till then just a question Can we Disable the SRAM on starocean. and make it work with Street Fighter Alpha 2 rom which doesn't require sram .
