What was the last movie you've seen?

Anything with Jason Statham in it is utterly pointless

Last film I watched was on Saturday. I finally got around to seeing The Exorcist, and I really enjoyed it. The slow buildup of the possession worked really well, and I'm glad the actual exorcism is a only a small section of the film. Also, I found this to be far more hilarious than most comedies I've seen lately. Oh Satan, you rascal, you!

Saw Official Rejection at Riverrun filmfest this past weekend. It's a documentary about submitting a film to a film festival. Very good even if your not into the indy film scene.

Interstella 5555 - If you like Daft Punk this is the animated film for you. It is a visual interpretation of Discovery by the animator who brought us Captain Harlock. So yes, anime styled, but it is awesome and I wish there were more films like this out there.

I really enjoyed Interstella 5555. If you've seen the video for One More Time then you already have an idea of what the movie is going to be like.

Interstella was entertaining during the first half but then I got bored and turned it off. The whole thing could have been done in under an hour, OVA-style.fast wrote:Interstella 5555 - If you like Daft Punk this is the animated film for you. The Warriors, my girlfriend had never watched it before and I haven't watched it since I was a kid.

I just watched The Reader with Kate Winslet. This was an excellent movie, but don't watch any trailers or read any story synopses because they will spoil it for you. Thankfully I only decided to watch it because Kate Winslet won the Oscar for her role and my wife loves Kate Winslet.

68 minutes? I thought it was going to be over 90!fast wrote:I dont like the middle of the album very much so I know where you are coming from, but the entire things is only 68 minutes.
Last movies seen: Sneakers.. An entertaining (albeit technically ropey) hacker thriller that predated the 1995 ridiculous-yet-good Hackers. Lack of teen angst is a definite plus!
