What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

That's how I got them. I also bought Vomitorium from the same devs ages ago. But after actually seeing Shrine I just knew that it wasn't appropriate for the kids.

Well, a lot of other shit you’re putting on there probably isn’t appropriate for them either, but that isn’t stopping you…
You’re also making this FAR too complicated for yourself and them.

RIP John Madden. Loved his nfl coverage all those years and football video game pioneer. Dang a day after his TV special too.

I'm not saying I'm getting good at making custom box art for games, but...
At 527x516 this was the largest I could get it while making it 400kb or less.
The rest are no higher or wider than 226 pixels (the artwork for the PSC carousel is 226x226, so I just assumed it had to be no bigger than that).
Literally just a basic NES cover template and the cover of an Astro Boy omnibus, from Dark Horse iirc.
Made the template myself, took the logo from some artwork I found on Bing.
The story how I discovered this game is rather interesting. Basically, I was on Discord hoping to get an answer on whether the Sort Games option on the Project Eris desktop app would sort all the games alphabetically into a single A-Z list regardless of system or if it'd sort by system and then title. Anyway someone had a question about the desktop app, but unlike my question, I actually had the answer! Anyway, they said that Dr. Slump was giving them issues. I also asked if the game was any good and if it was appropriate for kids. Yes on both ground.
Anyway, for the artwork, I found out the game was based on an anime adaptation that came out in the late '90s, so I searched for promo art for said series. I used a premade template, some random art, a version of the logo for the particular anime series with a transparent background and then an appropos ESRB rating and a Bandai logo.

Joan Didion, John Madden, Harry Reid, Desmond Tutu, the Roe v. Wade attorney Sarah Waddington (I admit I didn't know her name off the top of my head), Betty White all within a week or two.

First post of the year! Making some major headway in polishing off the PSCs that I'll be giving the kids soon. I know it's literally a week after Christmas, but I've been using this time to do another sweep, getting rid of duplicates and adding new boxart. Sometimes I'd have to make it myself, using resources primarily from the Launchbox database. Unless there's a really good piece of box art I can use.

My other two custom box arts got accepted, including my custom Star Ocean SNES cover.

make a thread for the custom covers or something, if you're going to post so many.
