Touch grass ... I like that, hadn't heard that one yet. Lol.
Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
I heard of that recently. Touch grass, read a book, get some sun.
I don’t exactly know what happened there and I don’t think I ever will but what I do know is that who ever that was, they really need help.

Figure this is as good a place as any.
I've returned to Racktboy after years astray. When I was last here I was all of 16 years old and felt like I had an encyclopedic knowledge of games. Now, roughly 15 years later, I feel far less confident in that point of view.
Where as before I was in highschool, now I work part time in a retro aracde as a general fix it guy, I run a local 501c3 for indie game developers, and will in the fall hopefully be applying to grad school.
Cool to see that this is still here after such a long time away, I miss how the forum structure cultivates discussion over how things are done on other platforms like reddit or twitter. Looking forward to being back.

OK, that is fucking awesome. I'm glad to hear you're doing cool stuff around games and gaming.

Welcome back, Monstar! I totally agree with you in regards to the forum platform for discussion. I find it to be my favorite way to dive into topics on the net.

Welcome back friend. An impressive hiatus indeed. What spurred your return?

Howdy, folks. Signed up a while ago. Just been lurking. Finally taken the plunge. I mostly play games on my 4 GB RAM PC (the limited choice of games to choose from is liberating), and I like to read as well. Jazz Jack Rabbit is one of my favorite games. Anyone else like it too?
Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Jazz Jackrabbit was certainly a revelation in PC console-style gaming.
Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Did you try the Sonic-themed Jazz Jackrabbit mod? It's called Sonic With a Gun.
