I would SO love to visit Toronto. I've heard it's a hugely international city, and I'd love to see what their Japanese community (if they have one) is like. I haven't done the research, yet, so...

This is why I would much rather this was a long-troll. Because if that's the case he's an ass and not headed for a serious life crisis that will hit him like a MAC truck.

It's also why I'm not pushing him harder to move to Atlanta. Ack would kill me.

Nah, he'd hate it here. Coke everywhere instead of Mountain Dew, all the New Yorkers who fled to work on film during the pandemic here are staying instead of going back to NYC, and we're far cheaper and less conducive to the ridiculously expensive New York lifestyle.

Nah, man, Atlanta ain't the place to be for his kind of filmmaking dream.

I’ve been to Montreal once in my early 20s and I really wanna go back. Toronto is on my list. All three cities are drivable as I have a silly fear of flying. Montreal is about 8-9 hour drive. Same for Toronto. Charlotte is almost 10. All three doable.

Yea if you visit both mine is barely out of the way. This probably gives away the city so easily lol but whatever.

I don’t know how close it is to a typical small town in Canada but the shoe is highly entertaining.

My only experience of a small town was visiting a flea market, and overhearing a group of women saying "you wanna go to the shooting range after this?" so maybe similar to rural America.
