This movie is totally ridiculous. There are explosions, zoot suits, neon, more explosions, rock music, and Bill Paxton. I loved it. Someone once called it the "Greatest '80s movie you never saw" and now that I've seen it, I'm sharing it with you.
Also, it helped inspire Final Fight, so as a beat 'em up fan, I needed to share this with you all.

Rewatched The Church last night. Known as La Chiesa in its native Italy, this supernatural horror film opens with the slaughter and burial of witches, with orders that a church be built on the property, and cuts to the present day. Here, the gothic cathedral built over the witches' grave is being renovated and the new librarian discovers part of a manuscript that hints at a hidden relic underneath. But soon he unleashes unholy hell, literally.
Often considered a spiritual successor to the Demons series, it has similar elements though is more wine and bread in comparison to Demons' beer and pretzel style.

This thread should be retitled "the last obsure movie watched". Nothing has been mainstream in like months. For the uptight folks, I'm messing around, but dam, somebody watch something popular lol.

I don't have a whole lot of opportunities to watch movies with my schedule. Plus I can never decide what to watch.
