Wow, great stuff! If you have a 7800, pick up the Frenzy homebrew sometime. It has both Frenzy & an even better version of Berzerk. Two-player action!

As for the H.E.R.O. discourse, that's one Atari game that has slipped my grasp over the years. I just checked prices on eBay, and yeah, I'll continue only playing that on emulators and flash carts.

However, while looking, I stumbled on to someone selling homemade cart displays & other gameroom signs that I thought were pretty great. These two are for H.E.R.O.

Totally agreed, at least out of the shmups I played from that generation. The other that looks great to me that I'd like to track down is Eschatos.

@Golgo 14, I do have a 7800 and I've been meaning to pick that up, and some others, off atariage. Complete copies of hero are insane, I splurged a tad bit for the cart for 50.

One thing I'm learning about the colecovision homebrew scene is you better get it while you can because they don't produce many, and I can't just sit around a computer 24/7 to find release days. Id really like the elevator action release and knight n more, a ghosts n goblins clone. The sega new game/homebrew scene is alot more approachable.

I <finally> picked up the last three Xbox Live Arcade games on my want list:

Dishwasher: Dead Samurai
Dishwasher: Vampire Smiles
Super Time Force

With this acquisition, I now have every digital game I want for seventh generation consoles! Now, I just need to finish playing through all of them!

wife went yard saling. she paid 10. had alot more, but going over all the games over the phone was a pain in the ass. I didn't have any of these anyway. sucks because I know a few 2600 games are up there in value, just to obscure for me to know.

Really cool mix of games there, spanning the entirety of the 2600's lifespan.

Didn't even realize there was a DeathSmiles 2. Was that released in the US as digital only?
