I may be the odd one here, but I have a Wii and I still play my Game Cube games on the Game Cube. I played them on the Wii at first, but it's a pain in the ass having to bring out the extra controller (my game room is very organized) and going through the whole ordeal that probably only takes 5 more seconds. Another big reason is that I hate dust on my consoles, but I hate the idea of dust inside the consoles even more. I need to have my Wii standing on it's side to fit everything else, which means the door to the memory cards is always open. I put the controllers away after playing, but having to take out my memory card each time so that I could shut the little door and keep dust out each time would just be obsessive...

I know I'm not the only one who loved Luigi's Mansion. As short as it was, it was a great romp and the graphics were unbelievable at the time, IMO.

I liked my gamecube so much I bought another 2!

Resident evil 4 is best on it, in fact the resident evils on the console are all great!

the biggest gripe I had was the lack of a really good racer on it, f-zero is the opnly one I have I think and its the only one I can recall being any good aside from mario kart

I wasn't a fan of it on the 64 but I'll look into getting a copy.

You'll probably hate the sequel then. There's not much difference apart from improved water physics and a few extra courses (and of course vastly improved graphics). I really enjoyed the game, people raged at it for not handling like a normal driving game, but that's kinda the point. The water always makes the races interesting since it's almost random (apart from certain track specific events, like raising/lowering of tide, big waves in certain points) you have to feather your control and use your throttle properly otherwise you'll just end up falling off/spinning round uncontrollably.

I loved the first game so the familiar courses were a welcome return due to the increased difficulty of the game.

I still have yet to own a PS2 but I have been through 2 game cubes. It's not the best system ever but right now there are a lot of cheap games for it. No DVD playback is the only real thing I don't like about it, same as the Wii.

Lately I've felt that gamecube didn't get as much love as it should've similar to the way i feel about the dreamcast. I'm such a sucker for the underdog.

Saw the graphics for twighlight princess and I was very impressed.

All this talk about the Gamecube made me want to hook mine up again this weekend. I went out looking for a new game on the cosole and ended up getting Mega Man Network Transmission for $2.99 at GameStop in excellent condition. It's a pretty solid game thus far.
