Wasn’t there a goldeneye bundle at some point too?

My first N64 was the pikachu model - can confirm it didn’t come with a game

I will confirm that my black Nintendo 64 bought loose from a pawn shop by a military base did not come with a game. It did come with two mismatched controllers and an expansion pack, though! :D

Looks like there was a Goldeneye bundle, but in the UK only.

Anyone else find the game and watch Mario the dumbest thing ever made? Can anyone explain this to me? 50 dollars to play Super Mario 1 and 2? Scalpers trying to sell it on ebay for 100+ even though I see piles of them at my local Target and Walmart. Am I just getting old and bitter or is this really as dumb as I perceive it?

You're just old and bitter. It's hitting a special bit of nostalgia for people, many of whom didn't keep their consoles. And unlike the NES Mini it's portable.

Does Nights into Dreams for the saturn saves games? I keep doing the first level because I can't seem to kill the boss in time, and it's starting to be frustrating to do the first level all over again.

There’s a couple tricks to the first boss. There’s another way to hurt him than simply pushing off his head.

...I don't think it's dumb, but I don't get all of the rah rah. I'm not that into the original SMB or the Game and Watch stuff. However, I resisted the fomo urges and passed on it. I know people have been hacking it to play other stuff as well, but even that seems like a hassle. Long story short, I've passed on it. What's even more stupid imo are insane prices that the next gen consoles are going for on eBay and etc. $1800 for a PS5 or $1400 for a XSX?...nah, I'm good.

I wish we can have more games like Cuphead that makes something new and different, not a 3D world after 3D world. I am really a fan of different art styles. I don't know how difficult it is to make but Cuphead really feels like playing in a tv cartoon which sounds like a dream of a 70's/80s kid. Did the game get enough recognition or was it overshadowed by the CODs, Creeds, and Fortnites?

Nope. The N64 had no pack-in games. I remember the N64 got it's first price reduction and still had no pack-in game. Super Mario 64 was still my first game for it though.

Was there ever a game bundle for the N64 in any region?
I actually find it funny that the PS5 has an in game bundle, a great concept too I can see it as a new IP like Mario or Sonic
