I'd buy one.
You guys realize who Mozgus is right?

Or a lordofduct action figure with half-crazed-drug-induced-storytelling action?
Pull the string on the back and listen to a 30 minute story that ends in a rant about communism.

It's brilliant!

Another thing you could do is have your guides on the best games, cheapest games, how to start a collection, etc. printed up and sold in book form. I'd buy them if you did, plus it helps so that you can have your guides on the go at yard sales, flea markets, game stores etc... :D
FUCK YES...best idea ever i'd buy that shit

I actually had no idea - Knew I shoulda watched past episode 6, but back when I was on dialup using bearshare, Samurai X and Serial Experiments Lain were easier to get. I still stick by my previous statement.

But yeah, back on topic; Start a new topic on t-shirt designs and we should be able to come up with a few original pictures to be transfered. Think that gaming revolution one mentioned a few threads back could be made available here? Would copyrighted characters or logos be allowed? I'd definitely buy a dreamcast swirl and a Saturn S shirt. If not even a racketboy "r" would be cool.

That makes things easier for your fans, just sew wings on a plushie of The Thing, instant Mozguz.

On topic:

Controller extensions are a great idea, especially SNES, mostly you can only get them on ebay with very overpriced shipping.

I also think that the Saturn S-Vid cable suggested earlier would be a good addition.

I don't need any, but some people used to come looking for 32x to genesis cables often and someone put a link to a store that sold them (only longer than the official ones)

Cables, cables, cables.

RGBHV (SCART + breakout), S-Video, composite for all the various consoles. Pre-made, so I don't have to waste my life hacking these things up.

Prehacked controllers for various consoles would also be awesome (for hacking into arcade machines and custom joysticks). But I don't know if that's very close to the target demographic of Racketboy (which is a bit more console, and a bit less arcade).

I think maybe you should make some kind of distribution deal with independent publishers of retro consoles to sell their products.
I also think retro related memorabilia, like poster reprints or old box art posters... I know there would be some legal hoops to jump but I think it would be worth it for a unique niche to separate your store from the rest.

Perhaps you could sell customized decals that are cut to fit over the entire top of a saturn/nes/ps2/etc to personalize the look of your console. Allow uploadable images to be converted into giant game console decals.
