Shinobi on Game Gear is pretty slick. The graphics are great and the soundtrack by Yuzo Koshiro is much appreciated. You can switch between various ninjas (once they're rescued) who all have varying abilities. It's kinda similar to Mega Man with selectable stages and gathered abilities. Tough game though, at least for me. The tiny cramped screen isn't helping out.
