.. solution for running the below consoles VIA HDMI on an HDTV or large monitor?

PS2 VIA component. Also using backwards compatibility for PS1.
Wii VIA component. Also (mostly) using for Cube.
oXbox VIA component.

(Listed in order of importance to me)

Really I just want to spend the least amount possible while getting a half way decent (lag free) result. I mostly emulate this stuff so i'm just doing this for fun. But i might possibly set this all up for my brother at his house.

I think it is. Anything cheaper will likely mess up either interlaced or 240p sources.
Possibly a GBS-8200 with that new firmware mod and a VGA to HDMI transcoder you could get similar results, but I have not yet tested one of these.

I feel like i've waited so long to buy a 2x that the second it is delivered there will be a 3x or 4x out haha.

I ended up buying a 2X right before the Pro was announced. Doh! Don't use it much, but that's also because most of my retro systems are hooked to a CRT. It's still a great converter, and it looks miles and miles better with composite than my 4K TV. (Interestingly, this set does a fantastic job with PS2 games, so the Multiformat isn't for me.)

In all seriousness though, if you want to sell it i'd be interested. If it's the version that had the audio over modulation fixed.
