It has the gameplay to be great it just needed more content. I spent more time writing the review than playing the game, that's how short it is. Fun while it lasts but that time is brief.

An awesome hidden import gem that scratches that 2d platforming itch. It becomes ridiculously hard in in its final stage but still remains oh so worth picking up. We needed more of these in the west.

A bad version of a good game. The NES version both looks and plays better, making this version not worth it.

A good port of the arcade game and better in many ways. But it still lags behind the better shooters for the system due to its repetition.

A solid brawler with an awesome array of moves that keeps the game fun. Large sprites cause slowdown and less enemies on screen which does mess up the variety a bit but this is still one of the better brawlers on the system.
