Great job. Looks kinda like you're going for an carnival theme. The bright red reminds me the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, festooned with brightly colored streamers, and filled with snobby, overly tanned Californians.

Hey Nathan, I really like the way it looks. I do have a couple of questions about the process, if you don't mind.

First off, what paints did you use and where did you get them?

How many coats did you apply, and about how much paint did it use up?

How long did it take to dry?

Am I correct to assume you disassembled parts of the cab before painting?

Do you plan on getting a stencil and some white paint to put the SNK logo on the side?

I used Rust-oleum oil based pant. I got them at a hardware store.

I did 2 coats. The second coat I did like 20 minutes after the first.

It didnt use much paint at all really. Like 1/4 of a 32 oz jar for red. Even less obviously for the yellow.

I did it at night and in the morning it was dry to the touch. It says 4 hours to dry. But oil based has a lot of fumes and smells strong so use tons of fans.

I used spray paint on the control panel and speaker covers. I took that all apart. I spray painted the underneath side of the plexi-glass piece that surrounds the buttons. I did the underneath so it wouldnt peel or chip from being touched.

And I think I wanna get a neo-geo stencil.

This is my next project. All though it only needs a new coat of paint. I'm thinking of doing the NES colors. THIS ISNT THE ACTUAL SYSTEM IM GETTING JUST A PICTURE
