I use the fortune cookie when I'm completely baffled, but I usually have some idea of what's coming down the pipe. New games tend to get priority, or sometimes I get a hankering for something older.

I will peruse my list of games, particularly limited to whatever I'm focused on (which has mainly been PC games for the last five years or so), and try to get it down to a handful of titles. Then I will talk to my wife about those options, describe them, and let her pick. Typically I stick with the game then, though there have been times were bugs or the like have caused me to put something down in frustration. When that happens, the whole thing starts anew.

Probably the best news I have heard in months, not saying much given all the stuff going on in the world, but super excited about that.

Cotm was one of my favorite indies from the last few years and I can;t wait to see what the sequel has in store. One thing that is cool is they are giving 3 new companions which should open up some interesting new gameplay elements since they are no longer restricted to clones of alucard/trevor/sylpha

I also still cant accept that this game is popular, the castlevania 3 netflix show is extremely popular, and konami still wont give us a new castlevania game. I think now would be a perfect time for konami to release a castlevania 3-2, a 2d sequel to castlevania 3 that follows the events in the anime.

Konami doesn't care about its video game IPs except for that sweet, sweet pachinko money.

My partner is starting to get into new genres and consoles that they haven't played with before. At first it was getting used to controllers. They managed to get into the switch and ps4. There's one more thing now. First person games.

I can't really think of any first person games that are simple enough for someone that's completely new to them. Any recommendations? They mostly wanna eventually play Outer Worlds and the upcoming Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines sequel but I think it's best to wait for those (well we gotta wait for one of them anyways).

What control scheme would be used for Outer Worlds? Is it going to be on PC with a mouse or on console with dual analog? If the latter then pick something like Halo on the easiest setting.
