Old Serria adventures in flash

Post by fast »

For those who did not see the article on Kotaku, Sarien.net has several old Serria Adventures rebuilt in flash. Right now they have Space Quest 1 and 2, Police Quest 1, Leisure Suit Larry Lounge Lizards, and The Black Cauldron. More games and browsers are being added and Wii/Iphone friendly versions are coming. They are technically multiplayer, but just right click and disable it since it gets REALLY annoying.

I am quite impressed and am currently playing Space Quest 1 because it is not blocked by works firewall.

If they get Kings Quest 2-6 up I dont know how much more work Ill be doing...

Edit:
And before anyone gets on me about legality - I own all of the games mentioend except LSL and Black Cauldron. Technically yes this is illegal, but the several of the game creators have stated that they appreciate what these guys have done.

Ok, I got about halfway through Space Quest - it is a bit glitchy. But still very awesome.

These seem to be pretty cool. I'd def like to see Kings Quest too, that'd be awesome.

You guys should play "A Tale of Two Kingdoms". It is an homage to the old Sierra/Lucas Arts adventure games.

Hell yes. I was just looking around for the best way to play some old Space Quest a few days ago. I'll check this out.
