Gato Roboto is a Game Boy themed Metroidvania where you play a house cat in a powered suit.

Re: Switch Discussion Thread
Is there a way to fully power off the Switch with the controller? I keep my systems on a power strip so I can turn everything off and not waste electricity. I can't seem to turn off the Switch without walking up to it and holding the power key. Am I missing something?
Edit: may as well ask here too to avoid the main thread. Is bloodstained patched on Switch? I heard it had issues on release.

Re: Switch Discussion Thread
Not sure about power, I always put mine to sleep.
I heard ROTN was recently patched. I haven't played it since the summer tho.

Sadly there is currently no way to fully power off a Switch with a controller. It has to be done with the power button.opa wrote:Is there a way to fully power off the Switch with the controller? Okay. Thanks guys. It seems like a really weird oversight.
Re: Switch Discussion Thread
I think there's just not enough people who feel the need to completely power it off, rather than just let it go to sleep.

I also hard power mine off. Unless I'm playing through a lengthy game, I'm not using the Switch every day. It would be such a waste for me to keep it in stand by, weeks or months could pass in between uses. That said, yeah, I really wish I could power off the Switch from the controllers. Powering it off is more annoying then just getting up and walking over to the console, you have to hold down the power button for a few seconds which makes an on screen menu pop up. Then you have to select the power off option.

Yup, it got a new patch the other week. I haven't tested it yet.opa wrote: Edit: may as well ask here too to avoid the main thread. Is bloodstained patched on Switch? I heard it had issues on release.
