Seems pointless. The online membership nets you the game for free anyway... So why pop in the cart?

oh, I know. I "bought" the DLC using my reward coins. I guess my point is, you'd have to pop in the cart to play the DLC right? But you wouldn't to play the base game. I don't know. Seems slightly weird to me. It would be akin to putting out a cartridge for Fortnite where you had to have the cart in to use all the skins that were on the cart or something. I mean, I'm all for physical releases... I waited for Curse Of The Moon to get one. It's just the physical version of free games I find kind of odd.

I wonder if the T99 cart will do anything if the online membership expires? Maybe the offline stuff will still be playable without the service? I don't know.

Invictus Mode is no joke. I often finish somewhere in the 60's-80's on that mode. Though last night I got a 2nd place which was awesome.

Looks like there's some kind of daily challenges now, and you can unlock skins. That's neat for the people that might have missed out on the skins from the events, now everyone can get them (or at least that's how it sounds).

As far as I've seen, the skins you can buy with the points you unlock don't include the event skins. I've used points to unlock a few... Zelda, etc. But from what I've seen the event skins are only ones you earn from events. I actually have all the event skins to date. There's a Kirby even this weekend as well.

There's lots of new content, though in the 2.0 update. The daily challenges are nice. Though, I generally don't even read what they are anymore, and just earn whatever I earn.

Mostly I'm playing Invictus now because it's super hard. It's like a medicine ball, though. I go back to vanilla T99 mode and I do so much better, haha.

I managed to get 1st place on my first try over the weekend, so unlocked the Kirby skin in like 10 mins haha.

I've yet to place 1st ever (best I've done is 2nd) but I was still able to unlock the Kirby skin.

I checked last night, and I've gotten first almost 60 times now. On standard T99 of course. Invictus is a different matter. I came in 2nd once, but it's common that I end in the 80's.
