i didnt see the original fantasy zone anywhere on that list either, which was a bit dissapointing.
out of my 15 or so master system games though, 11 were there, and i must say i dont disagree for the most part with the ones that didnt make it.
these were on the list that i own:
Alex kidd in miracle world
asterix and the secret mission (not a big fan of this myself but whatever floats their boat)
bonanza bros (and i personally think this is awful)
castle of illusion (well deserved)
donald duck in the lucky dime caper (same)
new zealand story (a very good game)
penguin land
phantasy star
sonic the hedgehog
wonder boy 3 (best game on MS, and here i bought it for 5p and £1 postage on ebay.)
heres what i own that wasnt on the list:
smash tv(this port sucks so thats ok)
special criminal investigation
world grand prix (both of these have dated badly)
fantasy zone (i dont get why)
aztec adventure (this is better than i remember it being, i think it should've got on the list, in a lower position.)
best of all, apart from sonic, wonder boy and penguin land, all of thes egames came boxed and manualled in great condition with my master system 2 which i bought for under 20 bucks!

Re: Top 100 Master System Games
I've never done a comparison for Chuck Rock II on my website, mainly because until I played the MS version I'd considered it to be a poor game, if I did then I would force myself to play the game properley though seeing as Chuck Rock II on the Mega Drive is awful for the entire 1st half of the game (apart from the dipping dinosaur level) whilst the MS version and Amiga versions are pretty solid in all areas I don't see that the MD version could ever have a chance at winning out anyway (it'd have to have a pretty damn amazing second half)PresidentLeever wrote:I see, and is that how you work when comparing other games on your site?jesus 666 wrote: I didn't notice any other differences though I didn't play that far into the MD port before my mind-numbing hatred for it forced me to turn it off.

Since this thread was bumped, I will mention that they should've included in the Street Fighter 2 in the list. It was a Brazil-only 1997 port by TecToy. Pretty impressive, much like Mortal Kombat 2.
Re: Top 100 Master System Games
I would have put Golden Axe Warrior, Castle of Illusion and Master of Darkness in the top 10, but other than that I think it's got most of the games i'd have put on the list there, good list.
Atari ST, Atari 2600, Commodore 64, Master System, NES, Mega Drive, 32X, SNES, Amiga CD32, Atari Jaguar, Saturn, Playstation, N64, Dreamcast, Playstation 2, Gamecube, Xbox360, Wii
Gamegear, Lynx, Gameboy (100s of the bloody things), Game & Watches (coming out of my ears)
