Easiest way to get a PS2 case.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Easiest way to get a PS2 case.

Post by Erik_Twice »

Yes you read that right. I just got two games I bought of Ebay. They were in perfect saphe but one of them had the box twisted in a weird way. I applied a bit of preasure to bend it and it broke.

So now my awfully small collection has a black case instead of a blue one and it pisses me off  How can I get a case without buying a new game? Do you think that if I go to Gamestop they will give me one for free?

And yes it's kind of pointless.

I've gotten free cases from Game Stop. Find a very cheap sports game on the shelf, make sure it doesn't have one of those shiny "Official NFL Merchandise" stickers on it, and ask one of the guys, just say "Uh, yeah, I was hoping I could just get the case for this game...?" If it is an especially piece of shit game that no one cares about they may not mind. I needed a case for an xbox game, and I think I found a game that had both football and tennis on the same disc, something like that and he let me just take the case. Or when you buy a game just have the other one in your hand when you go to the counter.

If all else fails, buy whatever terrible/cheap game you find, take the case and sell the disc back to GS.

they're pretty lax about cases if you got the game there especially. otherwise, empty DVD cases are pretty cheap and you can print custom cover art.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.
Consoles: I have too much stuff
Arcade: No seriously, I have too much stuff. Someone grab a shovel and dig me out of my basement.
