Devil Summoner 2 preorder

So SMT Devil Summoner 2 is coming out in may, supposedly in "very limited quantities". I don't usually do this, but I'm thinking about buying it right away because I figure that one day, I will want this, and it will probably cost me more if I wait to buy it if it really will be a short print run.
So has anyone played the first Devil SUmmoner game? What did you think of it? SHould I buy the new one right away instead of waiting until the price (possibly) becomes inflated. The SMT games seem to have a reputation of doing this.

I was going through the same debate awhile back. I eventually broke down and pre-ordered on amazon after they dropped the price there and after I read this review from RPGfan.com by James Quentin Clark after he played through the Japanese import.

If the game is as legendary as he says, then you might even want to buy 2 copies for when the prices on the secondary market go through the roof.

Plus, you gotta love the little bonus plushie of Jack Frost dressed up like Raido.

Yeah, I gave in and paid mine off at Gamestop. Should be such a sweet game.

I preorder mine a few months ago in hopes the price goes up and because it comes with a plush.

I preordered mine from amazon on day one. The first one was a pretty sweet game so I can imagine the second will be a big improvement.

I have a general rule to preorder off Amazon all Atlus published games. A lot of the quality ones get to be hard to find thanks to the generally small print runs. And the Amazon preorder is nice since they automatically will give you the lowest price from the time you purchase until the time it ships out. And it's easy to cancel if a few really damning reviews come out.

I preordered it, so now i just have to get the first one (and pay more than this preorder, it would seem )
