Hey guys, so i'm pretty new to the 360 and online gaming community and I had a question. I just downloaded a game add-on with some microsoft points and it got me thinking, if the hdd I downloaded it to fails, does my DLC go with it? Or does microsoft let me download that as many times as I want?

you can download it again free of charge as long as you are signed in with the same username.

All XBLA purchases are tied to your gamertag and not your console. So if you have to get your machine replaced under warranty or simply just buy a new xbox you can activate all your titles on the new box. There's a content licence transfer tool for this specific reason.
