Ah, Lady Stalker. For some reason they decided to eliminate jumping as a game mechanic, and it actually makes things way worse. I can't play it for more than a few minutes without my stomach beginning to churn.

Nice lot. They must have set you back, like, a whole ten dollars, less shipping.

Does Mystic Ark have a fan translation?

Pretty much. The shipping is the major cost for these cheapies. I think Mystic Ark - the spiritual sequel to The 7th Saga - does have a translation:

Surprisingly, there are two very good Mystic Ark fan translations, by Dynamic Designs and Aeon Genesis, that were both released in late 2009. Usually when a game has two completed translations it's because one is meant to supersede an older questionable one, but these two simultaneously-developed ones are both great.

Interesting to see Fami Miracle Warriors up there, prfsnl_gmr. Are you a fan of the SMS version?

It’s pretty archaic, and I think it’s just OK. It’s also supposed to be a lot better than any other version of the game.

There's a pretty cool Twitch streamer (Hungry Goriya) who did a nice review of the SMS version of Miracle Warriors: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydl_BGRBzn8. It almost made we want to actually play it. --Almost.

Didn't know there was a Famicom version of it out there.

Right. If Dragon Quest is the grandfather of JRPGs, then Miracle Warriors is the yellowed black-and-white picture of an old guy almost no one remembers anymore that you find stuck between the pages of an old family Bible.
