So...this is part of a Japanese ARPG series that plays like Ys? Also, this game was apparently released for iOS some years ago, but I don’t think it survived iOS 11 “app-mageddon”.

Yeah, fans of the Ys PC games will be into this surely. It's also reminiscent of stuff like Gurumin, Recettear, Chantelise, Zwei...

From what I recall, there was some drama regarding the publisher of the original (English) version of the game. Gamersgate was also a poor platform for release, and the inclusion of SecuROM was atrocious. And yes, the iOS version bit the dust at some point.

The game was also marooned in Steam Greenlight for three years. Here's a funny old Steam thread comment I dug up:

Seconded, In this case KEMKO (one of my favorite publishers since the old NES era, I'm looking at you Legend of the Ghost Lion), could be the one that can make an arrangement to publish more games from Exe-Create, including Lost Angelic Chronicles of Frane: Dragons Odyssey .

I onle see KEMKO as the only one who could rescue Lost Angelic Chronicles of Frane: Dragons Odyssey from that greenlight limbo.
