Mrs.Armitage and I went and saw "They Shall Not Grow Old" - it is pretty amazing.
If you have any interest in history this is a must see. If you do go, stick around for the making of feature after the credits. Well worth the extra half hour.

Man, 36th Chamber is pure gold. One of my favorites of its era. Way better than the schlock I often watch, like The Clones of Bruce Lee. I don't recommend that one beyond just the bizarreness of the idea.

I have watched so, so much Kung Fu schlock. I’m actually ashamed at how much of my life I’ve spent watching it...

I also like a good (or bad) spaghetti Western, and I sometimes review them. Unfortunately, they seem to get the least attention amongst the few cult fans I talk with, but hopefully they'll get their due once again.
The last that I reviewed was Hole in the Forehead (1968), which has a gunslinger that only uses his right hand to shoot people and takes place in a non-existent timeline where the Alamo has only recently happened, yet everyone's using guns from a few decades later. You may think that's a trivial detail, but it's not when a machinegun gets pulled out.

Have you watched the Sartana movies on Amazon yet? They’re on my list, but I haven’t gotten to them yet. The titles alone, however, are amazing.

I appreciate it, prfsnl. I haven't watched Sartana specifically on Amazon Prime, but I did actually watch a couple some years ago. I enjoyed them a lot at the time and would recommend them. He's a great amoral character, but his penchant for trickery and weird toys sets him apart from the likes of Django and Trinity.

Yeah, they had an interesting evolution from sword and sandal to sword and sorcery in the 1980s. I tend to favor the later product because of the influence from Schwarzenegger's Conan the Barbarian, but when I want some cheesy fantasy, this is my go-to area.
