Oh yeah! Real Bout Special is so good! I actually like it more than Mark of the Wolves, personally.

I'm from NYC, $1500 is not nearly enough, unless of course you meet a nice rich man.
It's a Racket meme, for the gray-beards. I'm not too sure when 'Repo's a bot' became part of it, though.

This guy seems legit. Hsien-Ko and Lord Raptor came to mind right away. I think he has something with the affinity to pixel art, zombies, aliens and fighting games. I think if he had some robots piloted by young girls, furries, samurai, martial artists, mad scientists, spirits inhabited by ghosts of undead fighters and multi-appendaged aliens, he'd have a solid fighting game hit. I'd back his game on indiegogo.

additionally (from what's already mentioned), I love the sprites on these ones:

SNK vs. Capcom: Chaos (It was nice to see SF characters with KOF art pixel)
Street Fighter III: Double Impact (for some reason I love the pixel here more than third strike)
Art of Fighting 2
Fatal Fury Special
World Heroes Perfect
Last Blade II
X-Men Children of the atom
TMNT: Tournament Fighters (SNES ver)

I looked at my comment after I sobered up and realized I perfectly described Marvel vs Capcom 2...

Some great choices here, although snk vs capcom cant hold a candle to capcom vs snk 2 in terms of gameplay, I loved the aesthetics of that game.

Also World Heroes 2 was my favorite niche beat em as a kid, I actually owned a neo geo and the 3 games I had for it were world heroes 2, fatal fury special, and art of fighting 2.

and since you brought up x-men, we can't leave out marvel superheroes war for the gems, as well as the 2 vs games they spawned.

Asuka 120%

I have it on my Saturn and one might consider it a hidden gem and I don't think it's insanely priced yet.

It's also been on the PC Engine X68000 and PS1.

it's a simple fighter and very combo heavy. In a perfect world they'd be playing this at Evo instead of whatever flavor of the month.

I just played through Asuka 120% Super and it was awesome. I always play as Karina because I love the "kero kero" frog fire attack.
I have trouble with all the graphical changes with this release. Are the best sized graphics only available on the x68000 last release, or can I get the same off of a Saturn release?
