My vote made it a tie, sorry doom fanatics!
As much as I love Doom, I have played all of them and one of my new years resolutions is to play more games for the first time, so I couldn't vote doom.
If rail shooter wins I will likely play either of the 2 panzer dragoon games or sin and punishment on wii.

I have harnessed the army of lineage 2 bits to my command. You mocked them and they have mobilized to my cause! For you see, all it took was to say to them that lineage 2 could be considered an on rails game following the linear nature of character progression and story! Well, if rails pulls it out, I'll have to dig through my collection to see what I own. The only one I can think of off the top of my head is Starblade for 3DO.

Doom Resurrection iOS is a rail shooter, and a good one!
Not sure if it still playable on current models, but I think it should still work on my old iPad!

Does anyone have suggestions for on rails shooters on Steam or GOG if that category wins? It would be super helpful to know my options.
