Either one of you played Horizon Chase? I've played it a bunch on iOS (including the Apple TV with controller) Lots of fun and slick modern retro style. Curious how Slipstream compares.

Horizon Chase actually is on my wish list for the Switch; nice to know you find it fun. As for Slipstream, it's comparable to the Outrun series. It has enjoyable euro beat soundtrack as well.

I just spent a little time with both today and I have to say they're both pretty cool for different reasons. Horizon Chase Turbo feels sort of like a successor to stuff like the Top Gear and Lotus games in regards to its gameplay. There's also a lot of content to go through.

Slipstream doesn't have quite as much content, but makes up for it in gameplay and style. It seems more like a straight up homage to Outrun and Sega and plays like a very pretty Outrun/Outrunners with really cool drifting and slipstream mechanics added to make the gameplay a little more involved and interesting.

For anyone feeling nostalgic for 16-bit racers it would be hard not to recommend both. They're extremely fun. Some bits of Slipstream are downright gorgeous. Both have great music too of course.

I know right? SOTN is my #1 game E-V-E-R (Cuphead is almost there too) i've got the game already but my notebook wasn't strong enough to maintain 60fps after the first area, buuuuuuuuut i just repaired my former pc, it is not a powerhouse by a long shot but i'm able to play it 1080p @ 60fps finally!
