Emulation set top box controllers

Post by DerekG52 »

Hey all, I'm building a HTPC for emulators and am in the process of getting controllers. I have 2 wireless logitech PS2 style controllers, but was now looking for a 6 button controller solution. I'm stuck between getting 2x retrozone genesis adapters (and using any 6 button or fight stick for the genesis) or getting an xbox to usb adapter, and buying the street fighter anniversary 6 button controllers. Any ideas are appreciated.

I haven't bought one myself yet, but the Saturn USB pads are supposed to be good.

Those looked good, I'm a little hesitant if they ever crap out I'd have to get another $25 controller off ebay.

My saturn USB pads give me no problems, they seem sturdy enough for me, i use em for all my emulators now.

Personally, I prefer adapters for classic controllers rather than using one generic controller for each of your systems. For my (still to be built) Arcade-in-a-Box (TM), I have an adapter for a SNES, N64, Gamecube, Saturn, Dreamcast and PS1/2 controller. All I want is a NES to USB adapter and there is no base left uncovered!
