Cave Story Help

I don't know what to do at a certain point in Cave Story. I'm at the Mimiga plantation, and the online walkthrough says I need to find Curly, if I rescued her from the waterway. The problem is, I didn't, so I don't know where to go. What should I do?

You need to find Sue's mum, another member of the research team. She's hiding out in a concealed cave roughly in the centre of the plantation.

I see a door, but it can't be reached. It's in an enclosed space below me. How do I get there?

It's been a while since I played through the game and I don't remember (sorry ). However, youtube is a good guide for walkthroughs when you get stuff in a game. Here's one for Cave Story.

Thanks, but I had already found out what I did wrong, and beaten the game hours before you made that post. Thank you for helping, though. I'm going to play through it again on hard mode, and find all the secrets.
