did anyone pick up Valkyria Chronicles 4 this week? I feel like I'm juggling a lot of games at once, especially with October approaching - and I've also had rather limited downtime lately. Ugh. I did play the VC4 demo when it first hit (during a power outage, no less!) and I've also got kind of maybe goal of collecting all Sega-published physical releases on Switch... so I feel like I'll want to get on it soon.

It's tough though. I'll be pretty focused on horror games in October, and between now and the end of the year we'll still be seeing Mega Man 11, Starlink, Monster Boy, Pokemon...

I picked up VC4, but I'm currently playing Star Control Origins. I'm probably going to do VC4 next, then after that DQXI.

I picked up VC4. It's fantastic, although a lot like the first one, but that's fine in my opinion. There's no need to reinvent the wheel.

I also have a lot of games to play at the moment though. I have Dragon Ball FighterZ, still have Shenmue I & II HD to finish and trying to find time to get into the new Tomb Raider and Fire Pro Wrestling World.

alright on one hand this is probably really stupid and pointless, but on the other it's $50 haha:

It's a Switch "VR headset," except it's not. It's basically a Switch Virtual Boy in that it (supposedly) uses some technology that makes the games run in some quasi-3D. I don't need this thing at all, but it's cheap enough that I kind of want it.

I guess Mega Man 11 should be in the mail box tomorrow, that should be interesting.

Reviews seem very positive. It's high on my want list though I'm focused on horror games this month. But that, Starlink and Valkyria 4 are all ones I want to get into before the year is over.

Yeah, Mega Man 11 looks ace. Been watching some streams of it today too, can't wait to play it tomorrow (going with the PS4 though).

Okay, so retro game nerds like myself have probably noticed the "Johnny Turbo" line of Data East arcade games on the eShop.

Well, Johnny has a new game coming out called Heavy Burger... Yeah. It's $20 and an original game featuring characters from various Data East IPs. It looks questionable...

And the biggest insult of all is that Johnny Turbo hasn't (re)released Heavy Barrel or BurgerTime yet. What the hell!
