Hot damn, you ain't joking. Two kids, daycare five days a week = more than our monthly home mortgage. Thankfully my kiddos are in school now, although covering the summer months still winds up being a costly endeavor. My wife and I both work full time, and if I had made slightly less income we actually would have saved money had I just quit my job and stayed home with the kids (my wife makes more income than I do).

One 'lifehack' that we seriously considered: You know how I said our monthly daycare payment was more than our monthly home mortgage? If your parents are of retirement age (and don't live near you), offer to buy them a house near you with the condition that they watch the kids during the day. Sounds insane I know, but in our case it would have been cheaper and we actually would have had equity in a second home rather than continually putting money into the bottomless childcare well.

Picked a good time to get back into selling on eBay got a $100 coupon thanks to a promotion where they gave you a coupon to match the value of what you sold over a certain time period up to $100. So I picked up some Black Diamond Neve Strap Crampon for $12 :). Did have to pick up a extension bar on amazon for another $20 though since i have big feet :P. Anyways hopefully i won't need these but I'll lug them around at least for the start of my AT hike if the forecast looks like shit like I expect it to given my planned start in early January.

Also snagged a nice down vest for $27 off Amazon Warehouse deals luckily they just happened to have a 2XLT Columbia Sportswear Men's Tall Flash Forward Down Vest that had been returned. Had been looking for some big and tall stuff on eBay and it was getting pretty pricey so I got lucky as long as its in decent shape sounds like a return that got tried on but didn't fit according to the description. Regular price is $119.99 (sold by Amazon so that isn't third party price hiking :P).

Last night i achieved astral projection which is usually rare for me, 2-3 times a year as it takes at least a week of mental preparation for me, to build up the hype and then forgetting about it, that triggers subconscious over time and after an hour of deep trance i usually fall asleep, but tonight i gotten past through the portal again and it seems my light body is getting stronger
First few times i was too hyped to find out that i am out of my body that pulled me right back in, now i could float around my neighbourhood and explore a little and i felt more in control with the emotions, haven't seen anyone alive around though, now i'll try for a few more nights and if i fail the hype is over :?

:? Got set up with a new counselor as of Friday, which is a positive. Negatives are that she gives homework and there's a two week gap between the the last appointment and the next, which isn't ideal. It should be normal after that, but it causes the same problem where I can go through six different issues in that time, and I can't deal with it all in a single appointment.
