yeah, the battle system is like that. But I don't know. It works. It's a weird and interesting game, anyway.

THQ bought the Timesplitters licence. If they ever release a trilogy pack or hd remasters, thats a day one buy.

has anyone played Dead Cells yet? The whole "roguelike Castlevania" pitch is intriguing, but I'm not sure if I'd like it or not.

I've been hearing rave reviews in the office and from my friends, but I have been trying to finish up Hollow Knight first. And then someone lent me Axiom Verge, so I'll probably play that next.

Axiom Verge is one I plan to get to sooner rather than later as well.

I got it today! It's excellent so far. I've put in a few hours and I'm starting to really get the hang of it. It's really addictive. I wasn't sure either, so took a gamble.

Still chuggin' away on Octopath. About 30 hours in and I just unlocked one of the final subclasses after stumbling upon the dungeon in my travels. Was definitely one of the hardest fights so far. I want to finish this one up in the next couple of weeks. Then play Cave Story+ and finish up Yakuza 6.

How do you unlock subclasses? I found what I thought was a dungeon to unlock a subclass, but there was nothing at the end of it (I googled and there's a boss there, but it only appears when you trigger a certain sidequest).

You need to find shrines. They're sort of like those hidden dungeons, but they're just a single room w/ no enemies.
