Ace Combat Assault Horizon maybe - or, at least, searching for that may show you some other possibilities. Strike Commander might also be a consideration - more or less Wing Commander with F-16s - if you're more in the mood for older titles. It's not on Steam, but it's available on GOG.

Holy crap, it's the thing I didn't know I could live without, but that I now need. Crimson Skies-styled game? I'm signing with both hands.

However, is the multiplayer mode active? I've heard it's somewhat empty.
