Re: FreeVast is now working for all PS2's
I have a question for y'all. My only PS2 memory card is one of those Nyko 32MB multipage cards. Would it work to install FreeMCBoot on the first page, load the game, and then go to the other pages once the game has loaded for the game saves? I'd hate to have to pay $15 for a new card when my existing one may work.

Re: FreeVast is now working for all PS2's
Wow... what a coincidence this topic was bumped while I was searching the net for answers to a problem I'm having with the ESR patcher. Anyway, I'm coming up empty handed so I guess I'll ask here.
I'm trying to patch CD based games that are in the BIN+CUE format, namely Gigawing Generations and the Strikers 1945 pack. ESR allows you to patch BIN files, but I'm getting the "No UDF Descriptor" every time. I've tried mounting them on a virtual drive and re-ripping as ISOs, but no luck. I get the same error. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to guess that those are CDs and not DVDs. Obviously ESR, being an exploit based on video DVDs, cannot work with CDs. Seek out tutorials to convert those CD based games to DVD images first. People have done this with Half-Life for PS2. Not every game can do this.Flak Beard wrote:Wow... what a coincidence this topic was bumped while I was searching the net for answers to a problem I'm having with the ESR patcher. Re: FreeVast is now working for all PS2's
What do I need to copy an iso over my network to my fat PS2 with HDloader?
Seems like a dumb question, but I've been searching and can't find anything. It's a hard thing to google because the word "network" pops up every result with network adapter, etc. Mozgus or anyone able to post a link or otherwise point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Re: FreeVast is now working for all PS2's
Because its easier than having to pull the drive out, and install it in your pc every time you want a new game. It should be obvious. Also you dont want to just rip games to the drive using the PS2 itself. There's a ton of games that won't work with that method.Ramatut4001 wrote:What do I need to copy an iso over my network to my fat PS2 with HDloader?

To transfer games to your hard drive over a network use HDL_Dump
