So has anybody here picked up Ultimate Shooter Collection?

Post by Mod_Man_Extreme »

So, anybody?
I'm really digging Radirgy/Radrugy/Radio Allergy's style, and Karous along with Chaos Field are great too. Plus at $20 bucks it's one of the best deals out there compared to the inflated prices for the DC versions.

I've been meaning to post this since I got it and my Wii arcade stick about a month ago but just got around to it.

While I'm Wii-less, I'd still like to comment on how I'm glad this was released. I've always loved the Milestone shmups (minus Chaos Field- couldn't care less for it). If I had a Wii, there is no doubt in my mind that I wouldn't own this in a heart beat.

You might want to see if anyplace near you has a copy. The only places I've seen it are GS, Target, and online.

The problem with that advice is that the "quit it" portion of the process becomes much more complicated after the "hit it" maneuver has been completed. Much easier to "quit it" before all else.

I've picked it up, and it was totally worth the $20. I would have happily paid $20 just for Radilgy. Karous is also a lot of fun, but I can't seem to really get into Chaos Field... Classic controller works very well, and I've been using the Hori Wii joystick with a great deal of success. Highly recommended for shooter fans, and at the price point you can hardly download 3 VC titles for the same price.

I agree Chaos Field just seems to lack some of that uniqueness that Karous and especially Radilgy have.

I have it, but I actually haven't opened it yet -- sad, I know (same goes with Geometry Wars Galaxies)
The only Wii games I've played this year so far are Guitar Hero III, House of the Dead 3, and Ghost Squad...
