I got a lot of mileage out of the dash attack. He has a tendency to move out of the way, but if you both charge him just a little apart you might be able to find a way to hit him every time.

Well I finally beat the game tonight, with my buddy. It was rather difficult. My buddy wound up dying in the first few minutes of the match and I was left to fight the two skeletons and Death Bringer.... turns out the skeletons don't die, they are a distraction. I wound up getting to my last life before I got pissed and made it rain with spells and charges and whatnot. Then out of nowhere he died. Man something I was never able to do as a kid I finally did now. Needless to say I had a good night on the Genesis. Now I can focus my efforts on some other Sega games. Thanks for the tips guys.
