I will have to say the same. Besides, emulation is great but never as good as the real thing. Just having some slight colors being off or the sound being buggy is enough for me to want the real deal. I would never even think about trading my SNES in for emulation.

If it was me I'd get an xbox and softmod it. Emulation on the xbox is much better than it is on the DC. It can emulate N64 pretty well, it even does PS1 emulation. Get a couple of those licensed arcade sticks for it and you also get a pretty good mame box too.

I say softmodded xbox is the way to go for an all in one emulation machine. Put the rest of your consoles into storage. I've been tempted to put all my underused consoles into storage for a while now.

my advice would be to ditch the atari 7800... i mean how much joy can that really bring you? the others i would keep, because they have higher quality games and are really great to get to play with their orignal controllers. i

if you plan on focusing on your emulators, go ahead and box the systems up and put them away. they wouldnt take up that much closet space and u would have them when u want them.

that my $.02

Oh no, the 7800 must stay. The 7800 plays 2600 carts, and you know what that means... Breakout! Emulation just can't replace those paddle controllers, so the Atari has to stay.

I don't think selling your systems is worth it,you will probably want to buy them back years from now.I thought of selling my PS2 and games a couple of years ago,but you really don't get much for the games & system unless you have rare games, imo its not worth it.
Systems: Sega Dreamcast(x2), Sega Genesis(x2), Sega Saturn, Sega CD, Genmobile (portable Genesis), FC Twin, PSX, PS2(x2), GBA, SP, Xbox 360, N64, Showcase Arcade
