I need your help folks. I just bought a Game Gear today at the Thrift store for $10. It included the rechargeable battery pack and I am using the proper model power adapter. Additionally I picked up 4 games each for $3 including "Dynamite Headdy", Streets of Rage, Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Monaco GP. Anyhow I am having some trouble with it. The system turns on, the sound and controls works perfectly and the games run but the one issue I am having that I can seem to resolve is that the video displayed is very distorted and scrambled. The best way I can describe is when a color tv's signal is scrambled. I have been cleaning the system and games with rubbing alcohol so I am kind of at a loss of what else to do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Sega Game Gear Troubleshhoting Help
Could well be a faulty capacitor. This is a common type of problem with these older systems.
